This product reminds me of the late 90′s when I was supporting developers at YPG (Yuma Proving Ground).
They would download a new upstart program called VMware Beta and then I’d have to figure out how to set up virtual machine images for them.
It seems VirtualBox is following a similar trend of usage and it’s become a popular solution for the hobbyist who is using virtual box to test hacks of Android, IOS, OSX and other operating systems.
The challenge is to get a hacked OS running on a VirtualBox VM, then publish a video of it on Youtube to get the “Props” and “Adsense Profits” from their achievement.
Here’s 4 good things about VirtualBox, there’s an install package for:
- Windows
- OSX
- Linux
- Unix
You get to pick your platform to install it on, which includes x86/amd64 Back in the day, VMware Beta only ran on Windows 98, ha! how things have changed.
To check out your free copy of VirtualBox software you can find it VirtualBox Download.
